Amerex 16551 PRM Detection Tubing – 50’
The Amerex 16551 PRM detection tubing is designed specifically for use with PRM (Pneumatic Release Mechanism) fire suppression systems. This 50-foot roll of 1/4” pressurized thermal responsive tubing ensures dependable fire detection and system actuation.
The tubing activates when pressurization is lost anywhere along its entire length, producing a mechanical movement that triggers system release. With a detection temperature of 435 °F, it is highly reliable for a wide range of suppression applications. An End of Line Fitting is required for operation, and the tubing must be replaced every 3 years to maintain safe performance.
