Amerex 16552 PRM Detection Tubing – 150’
The Amerex 16552 PRM detection tubing is engineered for use exclusively with PRM (Pneumatic Release Mechanism) fire suppression systems. This 150-foot roll of 1/4” pressurized thermal responsive tubing provides reliable and accurate fire detection with automatic actuation capability.
The tubing works by generating a mechanical movement when pressurization is lost anywhere along its entire length, triggering the suppression system. It is designed to detect at 435 °F, offering dependable protection for fire suppression applications. Proper operation requires an End of Line Fitting, and the tubing should be replaced at 3-year intervals to ensure peak performance.
