Amerex 16557 PRM Detection Tubing – 25’
The Amerex 16557 PRM detection tubing is designed for reliable performance in PRM (Pneumatic Release Mechanism) fire suppression systems. This 25-foot roll of 1/4” pressurized thermal responsive tubing provides dependable fire detection and actuation capabilities.
When pressurization is lost at any point along the tubing’s length, it produces a mechanical movement that triggers system release. The tubing activates at a detection temperature of 435 °F, ensuring a fast response in critical environments. An End of Line Fitting is required for proper function, and the tubing must be replaced every 3 years for maximum safety.
